packed the kids and went on a little rainy day expedition to the singapore flyer. H and i checked out the flyer more than three years ago when it was just launched, and they've definitely made improvements. previously, it was just a long walk to the loading area. now, there was much roo could get excited about as they loaded up the path with displays and interactive areas for the guests to find about more about singapore and the flyer enroute to the ride.

after the ride, we tried the singapore food trail for brunch. i think they gathered up a few really great hawkers and put them into the same place. i honestly did not expect much, but i was pleasantly surprised with the food. they were quite good, and the fried oyster competes with my favorite stall. they designed it with a 60s theme, and i liked the way they decked out the place with lots of old school stuff. was walking around with roo and shooting things randomly while red looked on in her stroller. good way to spend the morning to wear the kids out. =)
