Super Sunday! A brunch playdate/meet-up with friends from KL, gave us the perfect opportunity to go back to Tiong Bahru back in August. We're not often in this part of town -- though I do have a shortlist of places to check out, mostly because of
Gingerbreadmum's posts, and
Open Door Policy.
For this visit, we enjoyed brunch and coffee at
40 Hands, followed by a walking adventure towards Tiong Bahru playground, aka "that playground with a train"! I loved the flying foxes and the spinning wheel, both of which are not available in our beloved Bishan Park.

3 out of 4 kids cooperating. My stats are going down! |
The kids help each other along at the flying fox...
Exhausted at the spinning wheel...
...while the parents chill out under the shade. :)
Happy goodbyes! With plenty of messy hair -- a true sign that they had uninhibited fun. I was worn out, but the kids looked like they could still keep on going and going and going...Happy weekend!
