It's undeniably a place of energy; and I love the mystery surrounding what are essentially, just a bunch of rocks. We circled the formation in an age-old path while listening to the standard audio guide on theories of how it was built, and why it was built. It makes me wonder how much knowledge and technology we've lost in our human history because we didn't have any comprehensible record of it. This is one such history where the most we can do is to speculate and theorize.
Bought myself a bluestone keychain to bring some healing energy back with me. I don't truly believe in magical stones, but I do believe in the power of the human mind. If you visualize it hard enough, form a concrete image of what you want to happen in your head, the world (and your actions) will conspire to make it happen for you. The stone, or whatever object you wish on, is just a symbol. The power of human visualization is real powerful magic.

nick, you're right. it could have been done for any random reason, which doesn't necessarily mean anything. =) now we're wracking our brains for it.
